
You can do a variety of different things with this dish. You can spread refried beans on the bottom of pan before assembling casserole. You can also top with lettuce, sour cream, green onions & black olives....the possibilities are numerous!! (There are also other brands like DeliMex, etc)
Ingredients:
1 box (18, 20 or 24 count) Chicken & Cheese Taquitos
1 small can cream of mushroom soup
1 small can cream of chicken soup
8 oz sour cream
1/2 cup picante sauce
2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
Directions:
Layer frozen taquitos in bottom of 13x9 casserole dish. In medium saucepan, combine cream of mushroom soup, chicken soup, sour cream, and picante. (If sauce seems to thick, add small amounts of milk until desired consistency is reached). Heat mix on medium/low heat. Stir... Be careful not to let it stick! After sauce has heated through, pour over taquitos. Top with cheese & bake at 350*F for about 20-30 minutes or until bubbly. Spanish Rice is excellent with this!
