My brother fixed these one time on the grill and I have been hooked ever since...I will find any excuse to fix these!!
Ingredients:
10-12 whole, fresh jalapenos (halved & seeded)
1 package cream cheese
1 lb bacon
1-2 cups graded parmesan cheese
**Note: use toothpicks to keep bacon wrapped**
Directions:
Cut jalapeno peppers in half and seed. Spread generous portion of cream cheese in center of pepper. Wrap pepper with strip of bacon (We cut our bacon in half first, then wrap). Roll wrapped pepper in grated parmesan cheese. When all peppers are wrapped, place on grill until bacon is well cooked (but not burnt, of course).
~You won't be able to eat just one....they will go fast :)
We haven't tried this, but it sounds good too....add a cocktail shrimp on top of the cream cheese before wrapping with bacon.... Let me know if anyone has tried this and how it turned out!!
